While the game can be played with just a keyboard and mouse, for whatever reason Strange Scaffold has decided to make it possible to play using the Kinect.
Its official Steam page doesn't mention anything about Kinect support, with this information being exclusively revealed by Rock Paper Shotgun. This could effectively make this the last Kinect game ever made, provided no other developer decides to follow suit and incorporate it into their own game. Though the Kinect is no longer used for games in an official capacity, some modders have gone out of their way to add it to the likes of Grand Theft Auto 5 and Super Mario Microsoft also made a new iteration in called the Azure Kinect, which is primarily used for logistics, robotics, and even health care.
